It’s an exciting time for Transformative Corporate Volunteering! The RW Institute’s online course Empathy in Motion: The Power of Employee Volunteering, hosted by openSAP, was completed last month by its first cohort with rave reviews. The positive response to Changing Hearts and Minds (pt. 1), and Leading the Change (pt. 2) was unprecedented and overwhelming. The teams at SAP, Realized Worth, and openSAP would like to extend our gratitude to everyone involved in this powerful initiative.

“This course illuminated all of the struggles that go into planning eventsand motivating employees, and then provided concrete examples, methods, tools, and hacks to alleviate those pain points.” – Martina, course participant

And there’s more good news! The course organizers, including presenter Chris Jarvis, have been asked to host Empathy in Motion: Live!, a 3-day workshop in Washington, D.C. bridging the gap from theoretical concepts to practical application. Attendees will join Chris Jarvis and other practitioners, academics, and volunteer enthusiasts to workshop how to realize the power of employee volunteering at their companies or organizations.
